Order Entry
Purchase orders, entered. Your Order Entry agent reads each PO, checks every line against the quote, and drafts the sales order and the acknowledgment, the way your team would.
- Works with
- Your inbox and your ERP
- Built on
- Your customers, your parts, and your order history
- Approval
- Nothing posts or sends until your team approves it
How an order moves
01
A PO comes in.
The agent picks up purchase orders from the inbox you connect, in the body of the email or as an attached file.
02
Every line is checked.
It matches each line to your customer, your part numbers, and the quote, and flags anything that does not match, such as a price, a quantity, or a date.
03
Your team reviews.
Orders that match go to your team as a drafted sales order and acknowledgment. Orders with a mismatch come with the flagged lines and a drafted reply to the customer.
04
You approve, and it goes out.
When your team approves, the sales order is entered in your ERP and the acknowledgment or reply sends. Nothing happens before that.
What your team does
- Review flagged lines and decide what to do with each one
- Approve, edit, or reject each drafted order and reply
- Tell your named engineer about new customers, part number changes, or new order formats the agent should learn
Corrections you make teach your agent, so the same fix is not needed twice. See Reviewing and approving work.
